What We Do…
One of our licensed technicians will place the appropriate number (~1-3) of radon monitors (based on the size and other features of the home) at proper locations throughout the home. The monitors must stay in the home for at least 48 hours with closed house conditions in order to get an accurate reading. In the case of inclement weather, monitors may need to stay in the home for additional time. All of these procedures are in accordance with state regulations and are more or less the same across the industry.
Monitors are small in size (about half the size of a shoe box) and are not placed in intrusive areas of the home.
Monitors are recalibrated and cross checked in strict accordance with state regulation to ensure accurate readings.
We are very flexible and easy to work with when it comes to availability for placement and pickup of the monitors, as well as very quick to provide the client with the results of their test.
In the event that the radon levels are above the recommended actionable levels, we are happy to provide trusted referrals and explanations of the next steps in the mitigation process.
We are excited to work with you!
